Open call internazionale dedicata alle scuole internazionali di fotografia
Per la prima volta un festival di fotografia italiano lancia una call completamente
dedicata agli studenti delle migliori scuole di fotografia in ambito nazionale e internazionale. Il comitato artistico della ventisettesima di SI FEST è onorato di invitare le principali istituzioni dedite alla formazione in fotografia a partecipare alla prima chiamata internazionale dedicata alla scoperta dei nuovi interpreti della fotografia contemporanea.
Lo scopo è di offrire una visione globale dello stato dell’arte dell’insegnamento della fotografia nelle principali scuole internazionali.
A ciascuna istituzione si richiede di individuare da 1 a un massimo di 5 progetti fotografici realizzati dagli studenti che hanno frequentato l’ultimo anno del percorso in fotografia previsto negli ultimi due anni accademici (2017 e 2018) e che possano rappresentare le linee didattiche di insegnamento di ciascuna scuola.
La partecipazione alla call è completamente gratuita.
I progetti inviati saranno selezionati al fine di produrre una presentazione multimediale che sarà oggetto di una proiezione pubblica, in una location esclusiva, quale principale evento in cartellone durante il weekend inaugurale di SI FEST 2018 e in particolare durante la serata di sabato 15 settembre.
La presentazione multimediale verrà in seguito pubblicato sulla pagina web di SI FEST.
Scadenza
I progetti potranno essere inviati dai rappresentati delle singole scuole entro la mezzanotte di venerdì 31 agosto 2018.
Come partecipare
A partire dal 20 luglio 2018 sarà possibile inviare la propria partecipazione alla call internazionale sui nuovi sguardi mediante l’invio del seguente materiale:
CV dello studente
Descrizione del progetto presentato (500 parole max)
Biografia dello studente (250 parole max)
Selezione di 15 immagini (JPG 1920px lato lungo 72 dpi)
Form di partecipazione correttamente compilato

INTERNATIONAL OPEN AND FREE CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY SCHOOLS
For the first time, an Italian photography festival is making a call that is aimed entirely at students in the best photography schools in Italy and abroad.
The artistic board of the 27th SI FEST is proud to invite the leading photography schools to take part in the first international call dedicated to discovering new artists in the field of contemporary photography.
The aim is to offer a global view of the state of the art of teaching photography at the main international schools.
Each school is requested to identify from one to a maximum of five photography projects that have been completed by students who attended the latest year of the photography programme in the last two academic years (2017 and 2018), projects that embody the instructional guidelines of each school.
Participation in the call is entirely free of charge.
A selection will be made from the projects in order to produce a multimedia presentation that will be the subject of a public projection – in an exclusive location – as the main event on the programme for the opening weekend of FI FEST 2018 and in particular the evening of Saturday 15 September.
The multimedia presentation will then be published on SI FEST’s website.
Deadline
Projects may be sent by official representatives of each school no later than midnight on 31 August 2018.
Participation method
Applications for the International New Vision Call can be submitted from 20 July 2018. The following material must be included:
Student CV
Description of project being submitted (max. 500 words)
Student biography (max. 250 words)
Selection of 15 images (jpg 1920px long side 72 dpi)
Application form, fully completed
